The Hillis Group successfully completed a multifaceted site preparation and construction project, delivering high-quality results. The work included installing a 12″ compost filter sock, rock construction entrance, inlet protection, erosion control matting, temporary fencing, and stabilizing stockpiles. Survey layout utilized the Trimble system, with CAD files provided by others. Earthwork involved clearing and grubbing within the LOD, removing designated trees, stripping and stockpiling topsoil, cutting and filling to plan elevations, and applying seed and mulch. A rain garden and vegetated swale were graded and installed.

Sanitary sewer work included installing a 4″ PVC lateral, a 1,500-gallon septic tank, a five-way distribution box, and an absorption area, with line testing completed. For water, a well was drilled, and 40 LF of 2″ water pipe was installed with an inline valve and curb box. Stormwater systems included precast inlets, HDPE piping, a subsurface basin with Stormtech chambers, and riprap aprons.  Paving work featured grading, installing 1,590 SY of asphalt parking with a 5″ base and 1.5″ wearing course, overlaying 458 SY of the driveway, sealing curb lines, and adding eight curb stops. Concrete sidewalks were installed with 4,000 PSI concrete over prepared stone.
