Adelphia Gateway – Quakertown
Existing site conditions would not allow a typical drainage basin to manage the storm water runoff created from a new natural gas compressor station. Engineers designed an underground filtration and storage system to handle the storm water runoff. Our crew excavated and installed the underground storm water management tank system along with (2) jellyfish filtration systems as designed. The StormTank system had a footprint of 3,762 SF, utilizing 836- 3’ StormTank Modules, and 836- 2’ StormTank Modules creating 5’ in total depth establishing a total volume of 18,810 cubic feet of storage/filtration. Multiple layers of geotextile fabric and stone were installed around the system to minimize sedimentation build up inside the underground system.
