42’’ Valve Replacement

The Hillis Group successfully executed the James River EMAT RPV & FM Project, completing the replacement of a critical 42-inch mainline valve and associated facility upgrades while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. The project required detailed planning and coordination to safely perform soft excavation around existing utilities, execute complex pipeline tie-ins, complete hydrotesting and welding operations, and support pipeline blowdown, recompression, and recommissioning activities.

The scope also included fabrication and installation of new 14-inch bypass piping, 2-inch power gas piping, coating restoration, structural concrete repairs, painting, fencing, environmental controls, and complete site restoration. The Hillis Group safely delivered the project from mobilization through final cleanup.
