This project consisted of the replacement of an 80’ section of 24” transmission gas pipeline located on the side of a hill with 45-degree slopes.  The Hillis Group was required to winch all equipment and material down the hillside.  Project consisted of building and removing temporary access road, removal of existing 24” pipe, installation of new section, backfill and restoration of hillside.  

Project also required working in a remote location with a single access point that could not be closed or blocked to local school and commuter traffic.
